For this class we will:
- Have you present your CLASS TRIP projects
- Show you how to set up a Slide Show you can use on your Web Quest Project and your
Web Site Project at www.rockyou.com by doing the following:Here's How to Add Slide Show Pictures to Your Angelfire Web Site
1. Store the pictures you'll use on your Flash Drive.
2. Then go to www.rockyou.com and simply follow the directions below.
3. On 1st screen, click on the "Create Now" button near middle of screen.
4. On next screen, click on the "My Files" tab on the left and then click the "Browse" button to add 1st picture (don't need to enter captions now - can do that later).
5. Repeat #4 to add as many pictures as you want.
6. After all pictures are in, you can try the various "Pick a Style" buttons to the left of your slide show - I like Gallary.
7. After that, you can "Customize" by trying the various "Music", Transitions", etc. tabs to the right of the screen - you don't need to do any of these.
8. Once finished all of the above, scroll all of the way to the BOTTOM of the screen where you will see thumbnail versions of all your pictures - click on the "Caption" area of each picture and add captions as/if needed.
9. Here you can also click/hold/drag any picture to a new position or delete a picture by clicking on the "X" in the upper right corner of any picture.
10. Now, click on the "Save" button.
11. On the next screen, you'll see your slide show at the top and you may see a yellow box come on the screen and then get covered up with a box that says "Click here to post to you Bevo Profile". Ignore this, look to the left and click on the "My Space" icon
12. A yellow box will appear with html code in it (this is what you want) - click once inside the yellow box to highlight the html code in it, then copy it. (Ignore the URL in the "Slide Show Link" box under the pictures - you don't need this.
13. Now open your Angelfire page that you want the Slide Show on - and paste the HTML code you copied in the Text Box Step area of that page and you are finished!
14. You can hit Preview to see your Slide Show - don't forget to Save the page before you forget.
